Sarah currently works as the Regional Development Director for the UK Government in Central Asia. In a career spanning over 25 years, she has worked in more than 30 countries across Sub-Saharan and North Africa, the Middle East, South, Central, and East Asia, as well as Western and Eastern Europe.
As a governance professional, she has worked in a variety of leadership, strategy, advisory and consulting roles for PwC & the IFIs – the African Development Bank & the World Bank. Her sectoral experience includes economic governance, private sector investment, infrastructure, climate change, health, education, and social protection. She was involved in the early design stages of the Construction Sector Transparency Initiative (CoST). Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics from the Institute of Development Policy and Management, University of Manchester.
