Health & Safety in Construction

EAP is working with key stakeholders in the Tanzanian construction industry to build capacity in occupational health and safety management.

Climate Change

Infrastructure and technology play a fundamental role in both climate change mitigation and adaptation activities. Coordinated investments in low-carbon energy, transportation and buildings are particularly important for reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. Infrastructure also plays a critical role in reducing vulnerability to climate change/variability and to climate-related disasters.

Sustainability

Infrastructure provision is at the heart of the sustainable development discourse. Infrastructure services – water, sanitation, energy, transport and telecommunications – will be fundamental to achieving the MDGs. Furthermore, investments now to address the enormous deficiencies of these services in many developing countries represents an enormous opportunity to support the creation of a sustainable built environment that enables individuals and communities to reach their full potential.

Our Trustees

EAP’s Board of Trustees strives to ensure that it comprises the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to ensure that the charity is well governed.
